I
returned to The Citizen nearly two years ago, after a brief stint
in late 1997 and early 1998. I covered Peachtree City and the police/courts
beat before moving to my present spot as special sections editor
and Fayetteville reporter.
A
1990 graduate of West Georgia College (whom I represented in the
inaugural Jeopardy! college tournament in 1989) with a degree in
English, I live in Henry County with my lovely wife, Kelly, and
our 2-year-old dynamo, Samuel.
Our
family attends Pinecrest Baptist Church in Morrow, where I serve
as the church pianist and teach a single adult Sunday school class.
In addition to my journalistic work, I have been fortunate enough
to combine my job skills with my outside interests, having written
about 80 songs and two feature-length screenplays.
