Werling-Thurber engagement

Mr. and Mrs. William Werling of Findlay, Ohio, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Marie Werling, to David William Thurber, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Thurber of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Findlay High School and a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of arts in psychology. She is a 2nd Lt. in the United States Air Force and is currently chief of career development at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2010 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in biology. He is a 2nd Lt. in the United States Air Force and is currently stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, as a nuclear weapons scientist.

A spring wedding is planned at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Findlay, Ohio.
