Word of Life FMC offers diabetes course

Word of Life Free Methodist Church invites the community to learn about how to manage diabetes through a four week course called 40 Days to Better Living. The first class starts Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. at 405 Fayette Place, behind the Dairy Queen in the same complex as La Hacienda.

The class will teach attendees how to eat better, exercise, work with their doctor, and connect with God. A seven step model for healthy living will introduce them to ways to improve their life day by day. The classes are free.

Those attending need to bring a journal and something to write with. RSVP at 770-461-1756.
