Jordan-Pettyjohn

Richard and Sheila Jordan of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Jordan, to Randy Pettyjohn Jr., son of Randy Pettyjohn Sr. of Martin, Ga., and Kathy Bentley of Fayetteville.

The bride - to - be is a graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in marketing. She is employed with AGCO Corporation in Duluth as a communications specialist.

The groom-to be also is a graduate of Fayette County High School. He will attend Georgia Tech in the fall of 2010 to complete his degree in civil engineering, while employed with Whitecap, Inc., in Atlanta, as a sales representative.

The wedding will be in May, 2010, in Asheville, N.C.

Following the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Atlanta.

The Starr's Mill Panthers boys golf team finished fourth in Monday's AAAAA state tournament. The McIntosh Chiefs finished eighth as a team. Cambridge won the team title with a +6 (290).
