Coweta Science Fair winners advance to regional contest

The 2012 Coweta County Science Fair held recently at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts in Newnan featured 72 projects from nine schools. The 26 First Place entries will represent Coweta schools in the West Georgia Regional Science Fair on Feb. 17. The Senior Grand Champion was Toryn Garrett from Northgate High; the Junior Grand Champion was Jessica Pfliger from Arnall Middle; and Arthi Shankar from Madras Middle won the Coweta Water Education Team’s Water Issue Award.
