Scouting for Food in PTC turns up tasty treats for needy

Scouts and adult leaders canvassed the Peachtree City Kedron communities doing their “Good Turn Daily,” in an effort to collect over 700 items to benefit The Real Life Center in Tyrone. The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
