McDonald-Detamore engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Randall McDonald of Monroeville, Ala. and Ms. Julie Caylor McDonald of Pensacola, Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Lynn McDonald, to Radley Blake Detamore, son of Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Lowell Coan Detamore Jr. of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Caylor of Frisco City, Ala., the late Cecil Earl McDonald of Monroeville, Ala., Ms. Milly Ryland McDonald of Monroeville, Ala. and Ms. Mary Gafford of Mobile, Ala. She is a 1999 graduate of Monroe Academy and a 2003 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science in health services administration. She is currently employed by Crowne Health Care of Mobile as a nursing home administrator.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Richard White of Dothan, Ala. and the late Ann White, and Mrs. Saranel Davis of Huntsville, Ala. and the late Lowell Coan Detamore. He is a 1998 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of business administration in marketing. He is currently employed as an account manager for Allied Waste Services.

The wedding is planned for March 26, 2011, at 6 p.m. at St. Andrew by the Sea in Gulf Shores, Ala. Following the ceremony, the couple will reside in Mobile, Ala.
