Michael David McGuffey

Michael David McGuffey, Palmetto, died Feb. 12, 2010. He was a 2009 graduate of Arlington Christian School and was employed at Publix in Tyrone. Services were at the Parrott Funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Hammonds and the Rev. Ron Edwards officiating. Interment was at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Palmetto.

Survivors include his parents, David and Nan McGuffey, Palmetto; a sister, Kristen McGuffey, Palmetto; and grandparents, Harold and Nancy Huffmaster, Palmetto, and Gene and Gwen McGuffey, Murrayville, Ga. Memorial donations may be made to Arlington Christian School Football Program, 4500 Ridge Rd., Fairburn, GA 30213. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
