Watson is new pastor of students, local missions at Woolsey Baptist

Corey Watson of Columbia, S.C. has accepted the call to be associate pastor of students and local missions at Woolsey Baptist Church. He will also work with college and career.

Watson, whose home church is First Baptist Church of Columbia, is a December 2012 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a M., Div., Christian Ministry. He also holds an undergraduatre degree with a bachelor of arts in history from the University of South Carolina.

He has various experience with youth as a summer intern, pastoral internship in South Carolina and North Carolina, respectively. Has worked in sports ministry in Beijing, China and with Hands-On Missions, International Mission Board in Guilin, China.

Watson has been a pulpit supply/youth speaker in churches in both North Carolina and South Carolina and was a leader and mentor for Discipleship Now week-ends in several places in North Carolina.

Woolsey Baptist Church is located at 115 Hampton Rd. in Fayetteville.
