Cookies baked for quilt ministry

The Methodist Women’s group at Hopewell United Methodist Church recently baked 80 dozen cookies to raise money for the “Prayers and Squares” quilt ministry which provides “prayer quilts” for those who are ill or recovering from an illness or operation. The cookies were packaged for Valentine’s Day and the women raised over $300 with this project.Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Rd. in Tyrone.
