Golf fundraiser March 13

Braelinn and Sara Harp Minter Elementary schools are hosting a fundraiser golf tournament Thursday, March 13, at 9 a.m. at Whitewater Creek Country Club.

Proceeds will benefit The Leader in Me program, a comprehensive schoolwide initiative which supplements educational curriculum by teaching children (and teachers) the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from the bestselling book by Stephen Covey.

Both schools are seeking community support, sponsorship, players, raffle items for the event.

Spring Hill Elementary currently utilizes The Leader in Me program and Fayette Elementary school hopes to do the same in the future.

Braelinn and Sara Harp Minter are hoping to begin training their teachers in May.
