Dr. Seuss rules at Crabapple Lane Elementary

Crabapple Lane Elementary School in north Peachtree City celebrated Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday recently with a variety of entertaining activities to promote reading. Media Specialist Monica Boyd organized the events and the students enjoyed the week full of activities in honor of Read Across America. Young Audiences Capitol City Opera Company performed two of Dr. Seuss’ classic stories as a kid-friendly introduction to opera. Students dressing up as characters from Dr. Seuss books and buddy reading provided the grand finale for the week.
