Whitewater HS takes it to the red carpet

The Whitewater High School Choral Department takes it to the red carpet as they present the “2009/2010 Whitewater Spectacular – 100 Years of Hollywood!”

With show stopping hits from Sinatra to Bollywood, the show features song and dance from the most beloved moments of Hollywood. It’s a century of movie magic in one dazzling musical revue sure to leave you saying “Hooray for Hollywood!”

The show is under the direction of Whitewater’s new choral director, Clayton Duggan. Duggan attended Georgia State University, majoring in Choral Music Education.  He is a classically trained singer and has been active in choral programs, musicals, operas, band, and theatre.  He is the music director at Clarkston United Methodist Church and is also an active member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, the American Choral Directors Association, and the National Association of Music Educators.  He is very excited to continue the Whitewater Choral Department’s tradition with the 2010 presentation of Whitewater Spectacular.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Mar. 18-20, with a special 2 p.m. show on Mar. 20 All tickets are $10 and are on sale now at the front office of Whitewater High School. They will also be available at the door.
