Peeples students learn at the lab

Peeples Elementary School fourth-grade enrichment students took a field trip to the Fayette County Crime Lab recently. The students were impressed to learn how local CSI officers use fingerprinting and shoe-printing, get help from drug- and bomb-sniffing dogs, and store evidence and weapons. Pictured with the students are Investigator Mary Harris (back row, from left), teachers Kathy Harrell and April DeGennaro, and Sheriff Wayne Hannah.
