Two men sought in Rite-Aid robbery

Two men are being sought in the Sunday night robbery of the Rite-Aid pharmacy on South Glynn Street in Fayetteville.

Fayetteville Police spokesperson Steve Crawshaw said two black men entered the store at 9:46 p.m., grabbed the manager and demanded money. The men were described as 5’6”-5’8” and 5’4”-5’6” in height, said Crawshaw. The men wore dark blue or black pants and hoodies and wore ski masks, Crawshaw said.

Information on the location of the money and the amount taken was not available, Crawshaw said.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Dept. at 770-461-4441.

... the suspects were described as two black men wearing dark pants and hoodies ... apparently the scummy thugs from the Ghetto have started moving south of Hwy 54. In reality, I guess the police description shouldn’t surprise anyone as it’s become the most common aspect of most of the county’s crime write-ups.

However the big bucks robberies occur in Wall Street and Insurance Companies and The Health Industry.

We however are much more "afraid" of the kind you specify than the ones I specify.

We need to be just as critical of one as the other!

WakeUp's picture

It's not that the Wall Street and other crimes you mentioned are not important, but if the robbers ran into me leaving Kroger, Rite-Aid, etc. I don't think my life would be in danger. These armed thugs are here, in our neighborhood and you think we are prejudiced because they are referred to as black males who robbed a store and took a manager hostage.

The damage done by the white collar crooks is MUCH more severe to humans than those few in the local paper.
Tens of thousands of families have been ruined. Savings and homes and 401-k savings--wiped out!
Many now work at jobs paying 1/2 of their former job.
Many are ill and some have committed suicide due their circumstances.

No, the white collars may not scare you, but just how many people have been killed by armed black bandits in PTC?
They also have even less than before. The Georgia jails are full of them but very few Madoff's are there! Fear is what causes the hate.

That would be the sign on the door of my retail business. The sales you lose would only be a drop in the bucket compared with the peace of mind of not having the scum roaming around inside.
