Legal Eyed Drive CD release party tomorrow night at The Alamo

Local indie recording artists Legal Eyed Drive will be holding a CD release party for their self-titled debut album at 8 p.m. tomorrow (March 19) at The Alamo in Newnan, Ga.

The band has been playing a limited schedule of selected venues to prepare for the recording of their first release. They have frequently played at local establishments in and around the Atlanta area. Band members include lead vocalist/guitarist/ songwriter- Ken Luellen, drummer- Phillip Neill, acoustic rhythm guitarist- Max Haygood, bassist- Steve Salamanca, and guitarist/ background vocalist- Chad Alexander.

The band’s self-titled album, released by Ninja Stryke Productions, Inc., features a style all their own. Legal Eyed Drive was formed in 2008 by a group of friends with a vision for a different sort of music. The album will feature songs with a blend of classic rock and various other styles in modern pop music. Band members describe their genre as “Acoustic/ Crunk/ Rock."
