Mr. William Edward Landrum, of Tyrone

Mr. William Edward Landrum of Tyrone, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010.

In the early 1960’s Mr. Landrum was drafted into the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of Sergeant in the First Armored Division. He retired as President of C.A. Rafter Company Inc. in East Point after 43 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Landrum; son, Chuck Landrum and his wife LaVann of Newnan; sister, Linda Geer and her husband Terry of Eatonton; grandchildren, Andrew Landrum, Ansley Landrum, Jack Weaver and Sam Weaver.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 28, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. George Dillard and Darren Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Gardens.

Box 105452, Atlanta, GA 30348-9905. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairburn, 770-964-4800.
