PTC mayor helps with Meals on Wheels

In honor of national Mayors For Meals day, Wednesday, March 21, Fayette County mayors Gary Laggis (Woolsey), Don Haddix (Peachtree City), Greg Clifton (Fayetteville), and County Commissioner Allen McCarty delivered meals to senior citizens alongside Meals On Wheels volunteers from Fayette Senior Services. The event is sponsored by the Meals On Wheels Association of America ( to raise awareness of senior hunger and to encourage action on the part of local communities.
