PTC man arrested after assault, threats

A 20-year-old Peachtree City man was arrested Monday afternoon after assaulting a woman inside his home and threatening to kill her, police said.

Because Albert Ensell Jr., 20, of 234 Twiggs Corner, was armed and reportedly agitated, the police department's Special Response Team was summoned, and a negotiator convinced Ensell to leave the residence where he was arrested peacefully, police said.

Ensell was charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment, simple battery, making terroristic threats and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, police said.

According to police, Ensell assaulted the victim, pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her while also preventing her from leaving the residence. The victim was able to slip away after Ensell fell asleep, police said.

Following Ensell's arrest, the pistol that was reportedly used during the incident was located in Ensell's residence during the execution of a search warrant, police said.

The incident was initially reported to police around 2:30 p.m.

Another crazy day in Fayette County ...

http://www.kombatkamera.com/Journalism/Local-News/News-Stuff/7952631_Mx8...

March 25, 2013-Fayette County, GA-The Fayette County Sheriff's Department, working the Fayetteville Police Department pursue and capture three of four male suspects possibly involved in breaking into vehicles in the Fayette Pavilion Shopping Center in Fayetteville, GA and the theft of a van from the same place. A Fayette County Deputy rammed one of the fleeing vehicles head-on in order to stop it. Through the quick response by both departments and the use of tracking dogs from both departments, three of the four suspects were captured quickly. Tracking dogs persued one suspect fleeing north of the crash site for over a mile through woods, yards and heavy underbrush before losing the track near the intersection of Morning Road and GA Highway 279 in north Fayette County.

Note that they were fleeing north into Fulton/Clayton County, where 99% of the scum originates.

Last night about 5:30 I saw about 5 sheriff's deputies vehicles on 54, all the hat racks going. Any idea what happened ?

Was very curious what those 15 LEO vehicles were charging up 85 for on Monday during rush hour. Would expect to come to the newspaper website to find an article on it instead of digging through comments...

Good of Fayette Co Sheriff and Fayetteville Police to put so much effort into what seems to be "petty" crime. It seems like law enforcement in general in the city and county has really been stepping up their game. That is sending a message.

KEEP THAT STUFF UP.
