Ivan Parker in concert at Ramah

Orthodox Easter events announced

Buy Greek pastries for Mother’s Day
A Greek Pastry Sale, sponsored by Philoptochos Society of St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church in Peachtree City, is currently being held. Pastries include Spanakopita (filo-wrapped spinach, cheese and onion triangles) for $10 per dozen, Tiropites (filo wrapped feta, cream cheese and onion triangles) also $10 per dozen and Baklava (sweet filo torte with nuts) at $18 per dozen. The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
