Daugherty-Brandenburg engagement

Mr. Doug Daugherty of Topeka, Kan., and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Bunn of Orlando Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Kalen Daugherty to Robert Brandenburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brandenburg of Fayetteville, Ga.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Daugherty of Lakin, Kan., and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Waechter of Amarillo, Texas.

She is a 2001 graduate of University High School, a 2004 graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a 2010 graduate of Kaplan University with a Masters of Higher Education. She is currently employed by Kaplan, Inc.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sterne of Peachtree City, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harley Brandenburg of Sharpsburg, Ga.

He is a 2000 graduate of Fayette County High School, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Kaplan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently employed by Coca-Cola Refreshments.

A ceremony is planned for April 14, 2012 at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Atlanta, Ga. Following the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Atlanta, Ga.
