Nativity Episcopal will host Evensong service tonight

Episcopal Church of the Nativity will conduct a service of Evensong at 7 p.m. today as part of a weekly series of special events during Lent.

The service is a musical setting of the liturgy for Evening Prayer in the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. It will be followed by a discussion on the theme of “Personality and Gifts” and by a soup supper.

Tonight’s event is the third of five Wednesday evening Lenten programs on the general topic of “Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts.” The remaining two discussions in the series are “God’s Purpose: Our Gifts” on April 6 and “What’s Next?” on April 13. All are open to the public.

Church of the Nativity is located at 130 Antioch Road, just off Ga. Highway 92 south of Fayetteville. The Rev. Rita Henault is rector.
