Traffic delay on Hwy. 74 S in PTC

Peachtree City officials just before noon said an oil leak from a tanker truck is causing traffic delays in the southbound Lane of Highway 74 in Peachtree City from the northern city limits (Tyrone) to Kelly Drive (south of Highway 54).

One lane has been shut down, and efforts to address the incident may cause traffic delays into Friday afternoon. Drivers may wish to use alternate routes around or to Peachtree City, officials said.

Public Works Crews are on scene to control the spill, and the Peachtree City Police Department is directing traffic, officials said.
