Liberty Baptist announces Holy Week, Easter activities

The 2011 Holy Week is fast approaching at Liberty Baptist Church. Members will start the weeklong emphasis on Palm Sunday, April 17, with the Celebration Choir’s presentation of “The Cross.”

There will be no Midweek activities on Wednesday so that everyone can attend the annual Seder Supper on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Contact the church office to make reservations, 770-461-5644.

New this year will be the Good Friday worship celebration on April 22 at 7 p.m. which will be an encore presentation of “The Cross” from the Celebration Choir.

The Children’s Ministry will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning, April 23, at 10 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, members will begin early in the morning with the Sunrise Service at 6:30 am followed by a churchwide breakfast, Small Group Bible study, and the Morning Celebration, this year featuring the Voices of Liberty Children’s Choir and Celebration Choir.

Liberty Baptist Church, “One Church, All People,” is at 1077 Ga. Hwy. 314, Fayetteville.
