Wounded Warriors prevail on the tennis court

Alumni of the Wounded Warrior Project, including these wheeled athletes, turned out for a few rounds of tennis March 30 at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. The activity on the courts was the culmination of events held earlier in the day when the vets participated in the Soldier Ride at the Serenbe community in Chattahoochee Hills. The ride featured various types of adapted cycles. Photo/Ben Nelms.

The largest reported gift to charity was $103,871 to the Fisher House Foundation, a group that provides free housing to family members of injured military veterans.
