Wounded Warriors prevail on the tennis court

Alumni of the Wounded Warrior Project, including these wheeled athletes, turned out for a few rounds of tennis March 30 at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. The activity on the courts was the culmination of events held earlier in the day when the vets participated in the Soldier Ride at the Serenbe community in Chattahoochee Hills. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9949's next meeting is Thursday, July 9, at 200 Glendalogh Court in Tyrone. The group meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of every month.

Sports

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Senoia June 6-7 for the Canongate Series #4. The Canongate Seminole Course played excellent host to two very competitive rounds of junior golf.
