Renate (Rene) S. Christensen, 57, of Peachtree City, GA died April 18, 2010.

Mrs. Christensen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Katharina Lebherz Stiefel.

She is survived by her husband Dr. George L. Christensen of Peachtree City, GA; children Karin (Paul) van den Hoonaard of Peachtree City, GA, George Christensen of Peachtree City, GA and Todd Christensen of S. Lake Tahoe, NV; grandchildren Tess Lynn van den Hoonaard & Stella Nobel Christensen both of Peachtree City, GA; brother Daniel (Mona) Stiefel of Bennett, CO.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Peachtree City Christian Church with Dr. George Dillard officiating.

Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City, GA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Cancer Wellness Center .
