In your Easter bonnet ...

Members of the Serendipity Sunday School class at Hopewell UMC in Tyrone paid homage to their mothers and grandmothers this Easter by wearing hats. It harkened back to a time when this season meant new clothes, shoes, hats, and gloves to emphasize a newness of spirit and a recommitment of life.

Pictured here (left to right) are members Judy Gosdin, Sharon Collins, Elaine Pierce, and Debbie Hamby. The church is located at 351 Jenkins Road, across from Sandy Creek High. Photo/Special.
