Beautifying Tyrone

Eight “Road Warriors” of First Christian Church of Tyrone tackled the streets of Tyrone last Saturday in an effort to simply serve their home town. They cleaned up all sorts of things in the way of trash, debris, and cigarette butts, just trying to improve the looks of of their city. The clean-up is planned to be a periodic event. Some of the volunteers are shown from Left: Jimmy Miller, Chris Worley, Lori Barnes and Miles Barnes. Also helping were Marcus Garrett, Noah Garrett, Renee Garrett and Pastor Dan Roberts. First Christian is at 294 Jenkins Road. Call the church office, 770-969-7346, for more information. Photo/Special.
