Lunch on the Lawn returns to Fayetteville Friday

Fayetteville Main Street will kick off the spring season with its first outdoor event of the year. This Friday, April 27, the first Lunch on the Lawn program of 2012 will provide an opportunity for local employees and residents to get outside on their lunch break, and enjoy the spring weather and music on the Historic Courthouse lawn. The MOMS Club of Fayetteville will also be fund-raising for the Church Street Park Playground Improvement Project.

Lunch on the Lawn will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and everyone is welcome to participate in this community event. Chick-fil-A will be selling box lunches for $5; however, you can bring your own lunch as well. Local jazz artists, The Nate Bennett Trio, will be entertaining the crowd with classic songs.

This Friday marks the first of four “Lunch on the Lawn” events to be held this year, all sponsored by Fayetteville Chick-fil-A Dwarf House. For info on other planned events in downtown Fayetteville, check the Main Street Calendar at www.fayetteville-ga.gov.
