PTC spring cleanup slated for May 3-4 at recycling center

It’s that time of year again! Clean out the garage and yard and bring your unwanted items to the Peachtree City Recycling Center (off Ga. Highway 74 South at Rockaway Road) between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4.

Peachtree City residents can drop off unwanted appliances, furniture, and other junk that the Recycling Center does not normally accept.

No tires, batteries, or household garbage will be accepted. If you have questions, please contact Public Works at 770-487-5183.

Ad space area 4 internal

It was not much of a surprise that the Peachtree City Council on Oct. 1 unanimously denied a variance request to reduce the 50-foot buffer on four residential lots along Robinson Road.
