Get a discount, free hot dog at yard sale
Community Christian Church will have its annual yard sale this Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1. This year, as a part of the yard sale, the church is launching a “Help The Less Fortunate” initiative to collect non-perishable food items for persons in need in Fayette County. This will be an ongoing program and members of Community Christian are reaching out to the community for support. Those who bring a non-perishable food item to the yard sale will get a 10 percent discount on purchases and a free hot dog. The church is at 349 Kenwood Rd., Fayetteville.

St. Christopher group to host fashion show
The Philoptochos Society (Friends of the Poor) of St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will host its High Tea and Fashion Show by Belk of Fayetteville on Saturday, May 1, at noon, at 313 Dividend Dr. in Peachtree City. Spring Fling set for May 8
Fayette Presbyterian Church, 791 Forest Ave. (92 North) in Fayetteville, will hold its annual community outreach Spring Fling, an outdoor festival of music, food , and fun, on Saturday, May 8 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. There will be live music all day, games and activities for all ages. PTC Presbyterian concert set for May 16
The public is invited to a special concert of patriotic music with Mark Hayes and the Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church Choir on May 16 at 11:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, however a ticket will be required. Tickets are available at or at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, 206 Willowbend Rd. Childcare will be provided for children ages 4 and younger.
