Daniel Francis Dougherty, Junior, age 85

Daniel Francis Dougherty, Junior passed away April 25, 2013. He was born in Wilmington, Del. on March 30, 1928 to his parents, Agnes Fox Dougherty and Daniel Francis Dougherty, Sr.

He was a graduate of Rollins College, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and retired from FCM Inc.

He was predeceased by a son, Paul Jeffrey Dougherty, and is survived by his wife, Paula Wrenn Dougherty, daughter, Dana Dougherty (Fletcher) Sams, son, Matthew Chaxelle (Donna) Dougherty, and his sister, Eleanor Dougherty.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Paul Dougherty, Cameron Ann Dougherty, Fletcher (Melissa) Sams Jr., and Sara Kate Sams (Richard) Otero and two great grandchildren, Ada Wrenn Sams and Remington Lee Otero.

A memorial service will be held on May 1, 2013, at 4 p.m., First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City, Ga.
