James Donald Tomak, 73, of Peachtree City

James Donald Tomak, 73, of Peachtree City, Ga. died April 28th, 2014. Jim “Toby” Tomak was born in 1940 to George and Pauline Tomak in Cambridge, Ohio. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ingeborg Richter; daughter, Pamela; and two sons, Ty and Steve.  He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

Tomak worked at the RCA Corporation, NCR Corporation and Pratt Industries.  Jim “Toby” was an active member at Flat Creek Country Club and will be missed by many. 

He was known for his friendliness, generosity, and ability to make friends anywhere. 

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on June 14th at 4 p.m. at Y-nots in Peachtree City, Ga.  All are welcome to come help us to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, Ga. 30291.Arrangements were made under the direction of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga.
