Kidd-McCord engagement

Dr. and Mrs. T. Dale Kidd of Dalton announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Dale Kidd, to Aaron Nathaniel McCord of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Falls Road Baptist Church School and attends Middle Georgia College. She will receive an associate’s degree in air traffic management in May 2011. She is currently employed by Eastman Bank.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Fayette County High School and attends Middle Georgia College. He will receive an associate’s degree in air traffic management in May 2011 and will continue working toward a bachelor’s degree in logistics. He is currently employed by Zaxby’s in Eastman.

The wedding is planned for June 4, 2011, at 3 p.m., at Deep Springs Baptist Church in Dalton.After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Eastman.

The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
