Richards-Maughan Engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Richards of Brooks announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Richards, to Trey Maughan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Maughan formerly of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Wayne Richards of Fayetteville and the late Jean Richards, and Ralph Bedley of Greensboro and the late Eleanor Bedley. She is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences from the Medical College of Georgia. She currently is a nuclear medicine technologist at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Roderick Creigh of Powell, Tenn., and the late Betty Creigh, and Dee Henderson of Evensville, Tenn., and the late Robert Henderson. A 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, he earned his B.S. in exercise science from Auburn University and has an M.A. in exercise physiology from East Tennessee State University. He currently is an exercise specialist at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.

The wedding will be Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone. Following the honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Columbus.
