Hopewell to host Chick-N-Q, bake sale, car wash May 18

The community is invited to come and enjoy a barbecue chicken meal at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone on Saturday, May 18.

Tickets are $8 each and include barbecued chicken, slaw, baked beans, bread, and iced tea. The meal will be prepared and sold by the Methodist Men and proceeds will support their mission efforts.

The senior adult group, Recycled Kids, will sponsor a bake sale during the event.

The Hopewell youth group will wash cars from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The car wash is free but donations will be gladly accepted.

Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Rd., across the street from Sandy Creek High.
