Molly the milk cow visits PTC Elementary

Students at Peachtree City Elementary got an up-close look at where milk comes from recently, thanks to a mobile classroom operated by the Agricultural Commodity Commission for Milk. The students were shown the modern-day equivalent of how dairy cows are milked. Instructor Nicole Karstedt, joining Molly the cow and Principal Kristen Berryman, also demonstrated how cows used to be milked by hand. Photo/Special.
