Jazz Festival planned at The Summit
The Summit Church will hold its Annual Jazz Festival Saturday, May 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. Members of the community are invited to come out, bring their lawn chairs, sit, relax and enjoy the music of the Great Jazz Era. Two great bands will play; Michael Wheeler’s band and Brad  Bradshaw. There will be barbecue and all the trimmings. The event is free to the public.  The Summit Church is at 1373 Ga. Word of Life FMC to host Youth Rally
Word of Life Free Methodist Church in Fayetteville will host a Youth Rally on June 8 from noon until 4 p.m. in the church parking lot.The event will feature free food, free games, free giveaways, live music and vendors. The church also is seeking donations to help with its ministry on human trafficking. The church is at 405 Fayette Place Fayetteville, behind the Dairy Queen in front of the Wings and Things Restaurant.

Women’s event planned at Shekinah
Shekinah Glory Fellowship Center, 383 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, will host GOD’S J.E.W.E.L.S. Women’s Empowerment Session on Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. All ladies ages 16 and up are invited to attend. GOD’S J.E.W.E.L.S.
