27th annual Rose Show in Fayetteville this weekend

The South Metro Rose Society will be holding its 27th annual Rose Show on May 19-20 at Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 870 Redwine Rd. in Fayetteville. 

Local rose growers are invited to enter their roses for competition. Members of the society will advise newcomers on entering their roses by calling the number below. Entries must be made at the show site between 7-10 a.m. on May 19th for judging.

The show is free to the public from 1-4 p.m. on both days to view, smell, and photograph the hundreds of exhibited roses and rose arrangements.

Rose bouquets will be sold and there will be an Information Table where rose questions will be answered by certified Consulting Rosarians. Prizes include 2 tickets to the Georgia Aquarium, restaurant gift certificates, a 24k. gold-plated rose pin from R. DuBose Jewelers, rose bushes, and more.

All show visitors are eligible to enter a drawing to win 2 tickets to The Georgia Renaissance Festival.
