Local Toastmasters earn awards

Two Fayetteville residents were presented awards at the May 7 Georgia Toastmasters Conference in Savannah.  J.D. Dirkschneider received the Triple Crown trophy for earning three educational awards since July 1.  Terrance Lawrence was named Georgia Area Governor of the Year. Dirkschneider is President of High Noon Toastmasters and Lawrence is Immediate Past President.  The club meets at Noon on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the LaFayette Education Center.  Toastmasters International is tdevoted to improving speaking and leadership skills.
