Town hall meeting and candidate forum May 24

The Fayette County Tea Party is hosting a Town Hall meeting May 24 to let you meet, greet and hear from the candidates running for the two open Fayette County Board of Commissioner seats to be decided upon in the 2010 primary election.

The Town Hall Meeting will only be about Fayette County issues.

An informal 30 minute meet and greet period will be held from 7- 7:30 p.m.

The formal program will be from 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. Each of the candidates will be given three (3) minutes to explain why we should vote for them. Following their presentations, the audience will be given adequate time to address questions to the candidates.

The event is free of charge and everyone is invited. Bring your friends.

The meeting will be held at Christ Church at Whitewater located at 1577 Ga. Highway 85 South.

The Fayette County Republican Party monthly breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, at the FCRP Event Center, 174 Glynn Street North in Fayetteville.
