Hopewell will host chicken barbecue, yard sale Saturday

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will hold its annual Chick-N-Que this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 each.

There will also be a bake sale where desserts may be purchased to go with the meal.

The meal consists of half a barbecued chicken, slaw, baked beans, bread, and iced tea.

A community-wide yard sale will also be held that day. Spaces may be reserved for for $10. Space under the pavilion is limited and reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.
