Rook-Humble Engagement

Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy Rook of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Lynn, to Timothy Lee Humble, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Humble, also of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Linnie Koontz Coppley and John Clifford Coppley of Spencer, N.C., and Mrs. Iris Hardy Rook of Senoia, and the late Barney Bagley Rook. She is a graduate of Landmark Christian High School and Atlanta Christian College. She is head teller at United Community Bank in Tyrone.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Ann Barrett Parker of Fayetteville and the late Henry Grady Parker, and Mrs. Marjorie Birt Humble of Urbana, Ohio, and the late Harold Eugene Humble. He is a graduate of Fayette County High School and West Central Technical College. He is an employee of Miles Ace Hardware and a volunteer firefighter in Peachtree City.

The wedding is planned for late May at Dunaway Gardens in Newnan. After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside in Sharpsburg.
