COS will host Goliath Mud Challenge June 1 in Tyrone

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in collaboration with The Hudson Family Foundation will host Fayette County’s first mud run on Saturday, June 1.

The Goliath Mud Challenge will take place on the church’s property at 411 Palmetto Road in Tyrone at 7 a.m. The Elite Wave begins at 8:30 a.m., with Filthy Fun Waves every half-hour until noon.

A special kid’s fun challenge begins at 10:45 a.m. The 5K course includes 18 obstacles.

Funds raised will benefit youth of Georgia and Fayette County.

Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson will be present for the official start and awards. Register at: Spectators are welcome.
