Baker-Johnson

Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Baker of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Baker, to Ross Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Johnson of Roswell.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ms. Laqueta Clifford of Newnan, the late Mr. Harold Conley, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Baker of Corbin, Ky., and the late Mrs. Betty Ruth Baker.

Miss Baker is a 2004 graduate from McIntosh High School and a 2008 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a communications degree. She is currently working as a freelance writer and editor in Denver, Colo.

The groom-elect's maternal grandparents are Nancy Coleman Kuhn of Lone Tree, Colo., and the late Col. Joseph A. Kuhn.

Paternal grandparents are the late Lt. Col. Ralph E. Johnson and Elizabeth Canavan Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is a 2004 graduate from Pope High School and a 2008 from Vanderbilt University with a degree in mechanical engineering.

He is currently employed as a petroleum engineering consultant for Integrated Petroleum Technologies in Denver, Colo.

The wedding will take place on October 20, 2012 at Glendalough Manor with a reception following.
