Carter anniversary

E.J. and Brenda (Douglas) Carter of Fayetteville will celebrate their 50th anniversary next month.

They were married June 10, 1961 in Alcoa, Tenn., by the late Rev. W. H. Lodwick.

Their family includes children Scott (Melissa) Carter of Fayetteville, Tamara (Jimmy) Fischer of Senoia and Melinda (Rod) Owen of Brooks.

Their grandchildren are Whitney and Landry Carter, Brandy Fischer, Garrett, Olivia, Grant and Gavin Owen.

E.J. is retired from Delta Air Lines and Brenda from Federal Aviation Administration Regional Office. The Carters will celebrate with a reception in the fellowship hall of Fayetteville First Baptist Church on Sunday, June 12.
