3 hurt in 3-car collision

Three people were taken to the hospital after this car and two others collided in a wreck early this evening on Ga. Highway 74 between Peachtree Parkway and the Peachtree City limits.

None of the injured were suspected to have life-threatening injuries.

While this vehicle caught fire after coming to rest in the median, the other two vehicles left the road and ended up in the woodline on either side of the highway, police said.

Hwy. 74 was closed for a time in both directions, though northbound traffic resumed around 8:30 p.m.
