Clark H. West, age 78, of Fayetteville

Mr. Clark H. West, age 78, of Fayetteville, passed away, May 22, 2013.

Clark was a 40 year member of New Hope Baptist Church. He retired from the state of Georgia with 34 years of service. He served in the US Army, 81St ARCOM division with the rank of Sgt. He was the owner of West Grading and Landscaping for 45 years. Clark was also associated with Ford-Stewart Funeral Home for 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John H. and Erma West, and his sisters; Maxine Jones and Theodocia May.

He is survived by his loving wife; Judy, son and daughter in law; David H. and Holly West of Atlanta and a grandson; Christian H. West.

Funeral services were held, 3 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ga. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Ga.

The family received friends on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
