PTCUMC to offer Karen Ehman Bible study beginning in June

Summerflies Bible study: “Let. It .Go.” by Karen Ehman will be offered by the women’s ministry at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. The study will begin on June 12 and will end July 31.

For the ladies, there will be two sessions on Wednesdays — the morning session from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or the evening session from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

On June 19 author Karen Ehman will be the speaker at both sessions.

Childcare is free for infants thru fifth grade and will be offered at the morning session only. A Christian curriculum is taught.

Pre-payment of $13 is needed to order the book. A participant’s guide (not required) may also be purchased for a total of $21. All payments are needed before May 30.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9949's next meeting is Thursday, July 9, at 200 Glendalogh Court in Tyrone. The group meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of every month.

Sports

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Senoia June 6-7 for the Canongate Series #4. The Canongate Seminole Course played excellent host to two very competitive rounds of junior golf.
